National Club Matters
The Mercedes-Benz Club is a nationwide organisation with branches in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington (forming), Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay, Nelson/Marlborough and Auckland and Waikato. There are approx. 500 members and we are growing all the time. We are also part of a huge International Club incorporating 40 countries and 120,000 members. This is based in Stuttgart and run by DaimlerAG (Mercedes-Benz - Germany).
Advantages of belonging to our Club include: Meeting and socialising with other 'like-minded' people. Learning about your car, and knowing where to get value for money with servicing and parts. Keeping informed on car prices plus the development of new models and ideas by Mercedes-Benz. Taking part in social events with a bunch of friendly people, plus cheaper Classic car insurance.
We put out a quality monthly magazine (no issue in January) in which all local clubs have a section. All branch Clubs are very active, with regular Regional and National events. Activities each month have included, drives to places of interest, picnics, dinners, driving skills, plus visits to all types of organisations.
If you would like to join the club or get more information on it, please go to the regional clubs 'Join-us' page for information, or contact me at my email. All the regional clubs are on this site, except Auckland which is linked from the Links page.
The National Club committee comprises all the regional club Presidents (as National Vice-presidents) and the separate positions of National President, National Treasurer, National Secretary and National Patron.
We look forward to having you with us.
